JABEZ UNDERSTOOD THAT HE WAS NOT LIVING ACCORDING TO HIS DIVINE NATURE.

He knew that  man is not just a question of let “ THERE BE” –but  a complex process of divine factory machines and computer hard disk at work.  It is made up unique contributions by all the council of heaven “LET US”, their offices and titles in God the father, the son and the Holy Spirit.  MAN – collective mankind – or Adam the first man – or any given persons – or indefinite someone – or generic man, exalted Homo sapiens was not a product of chance or evolution.

MAKE: Means (Asah) in Greek language - Accomplish, advance, appoint, bear, bestowed, bring forth, furnish, garnish, fulfill, deck, execute, exercise, dress, fashion, perform – prepare, labour, use, take, govern, maintain, get, gather – grant – it means all the faculties of God were brought into play in completing man.

Jabez saw himself carrying the character of God’s blessings which never manisfested in his life . He had to call forth his blessings which had been denied him.

LIKENESS:JABEZ ALSO SAW HIMSELF IN THE RESEMBLANCE, SIMILITUDE, MODEL, pattern, shape  of God– we are talking of structural similarities –and in appearance. How can such a person be in pain and sorrow? By faith ,you can correct any misnomer in your life.

DOMINION:  MEANS TO TREAD DOWN, SUBJUGATE, REIGN, PREVAIL AGAINST, rule or take, to crumble, to oppress.  Jabez realized that God made us to be the aggressors – not the aggrieved. For  him , the time was ripe to retire from grieve by the power of prayers. For Jabez, no one else can deliver him except the hand that deliver from grieve  except the God Israel.
All these combined made Jabez to call on this God of Israel to restore his divine nature so as not to see pain or grieve again.
