JESUS IN THE MARKET PLACE.

Based On The Prayer Of Jabez

1Ch 4:9

And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. {Jabez: that is, Sorrowful} 

10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

DEFINITION :

The market is a place of exchange of ideas, services, goods, information, wisdom, talents and knowledge for money or other forms of wealth or power.
The market is the busiest place in the world next to the ant's kingdom. There is a high level of networking and corporation in the market. There we have the highest level of human and at the same time spiritual traffics.  For this reason there are all kinds of altars in the market some of which have dominant influence above others.
The market place has the highest educational institution not recognized by any National University Commission, Ministry of Education  Or Boards of Technical Education Or other councils of professional bodies. Some of the things learnt in the market are never taught in most of the greatest schools of business  studies.  The market is  a business learning centre that is why it was the first place that Jesus desired to be.

Luk 2:49

And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
If you must an expert in business , then you must learn from Jesus because his father’s business is to teach people to get wealth and make profit.

Deut.8:18; Isa 48:17

Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
His disciples also went to the market place often and Apostle Paul was called basically into the market place.

Act 17:17

Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.

THE CALL OF JABEZ aka LIVING HEROES ASSEMBLY:

In October 2004 God called Rev Emeng [JP] to go to the market place to break the yoke of ignorance and cast out every chains of darkness covering the market places and establish the Kingdom of God. The anchor scripture for the vision  is 1Chronicle 4:9-10 and the rest of the bible.
We  teach kingdom principles in the market place with emphasis on prayers , living wisdom and the power of God.
The mission is to add value to peoples' lives.[Phil 4:8] The vision is to help the saint of God take the kingdom forever and ever.[ Da 7:18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.]

THE PURPOSE OF THE MARKET

The market is a place people learn how to make profit, do  local or international businesses . People also learn various trades  in the market place. They study public relations, manufacturing and advertising among others.
The ultimate is that the Kingdom of God should reign supreme in the market place.
Like Jabez some people’s businesses are under the influences of curses they inherited directly or indirectly. And until the owners pray like Jabez they may never see the profit of the market place. The business may eventually collapse.

JESUS IN THE CHURCH

And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;[ Mark 11:15]
Jesus established by his actions that there is a place for the market an there is a place for prayers and the worship of God. In another translation of this event, He used a whip or scourge of small scourge to either whip, bind and cast them out.
[ John 2:15] . by this action also ,Jesus wants you be more focused on the service of God when you are in the church. The bible says we cannot serve God and Mammon. In John 5 we will discover that allowing the market near the church reduces the power of God to heal and giving room for strange angels to confuse the destiny of God's people.

JESUS IN THE MARKET

When Jesus went to the market through the disciples he rather went to cast out spirits that affect the market negatively.  A Damsel possessed by the spirit of divination. She acted like a man rather than a woman. She was operating with a high spirit of deception. Events further revealed that she was in total control of the market bringing much gain to his sponsors at the detriment of others.
So when your business is not moving ,watch out for the spirit of divination. Do not be to busy doing business without serving God.
Any business that will not glorify God will be taken over by pigs. So beware of demons of swine flu entering into your business.[Matt 8:30-32]. Any business that does not pay tithe to God is unclean and will be taken over by pigs or hijacked by the occultists in your midst like  Hymenaeus  and Alexander the CopperSmith that Paul much evil.[ 1Tim 1:20]

And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: {of divination: or, of Python} …….But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour……..  And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace …]

WHY WE ARE HERE
  • We are to represent Jesus but from the church and in the market place.
  • To protect your soul and business from the wrong spirit.
  • So that you make heaven and at the same time make good profits in your business through God’s ways of doing business.
  • Enlarge the coast of your business beyond the boarders of Nigeria.
  • Break the yoke of ignorance.
  • Cast out the rulers of darkness operating in the market.
  • Win your souls and the soul of your business back to the kingdom.
  • Add value to what you know or have.
  • Teach you how to survive during the time of famine.
  • Invite you to partner with us in the work of the kingdom.
